Codex reset FAQ
Did Codex reset today?
This page answers that in UTC. YES means Tibo has already announced a goodwill usage reset for Codex or ChatGPT Work today. NO means we are still waiting. The 24-hour chance is a live forecast, not a promise.
What is a Codex usage reset?
OpenAI sometimes gives paid Codex and ChatGPT Work users a goodwill reset of weekly usage limits. Tibo (@thsottiaux) announces these on X. After a reset, your next seven-day window starts on the first request you make.
What is a banked reset?
A banked reset is a credit sitting in your account. You apply it yourself from Codex Usage. A hard reset refills limits as soon as it lands.
When does the next seven-day Codex window start?
On your first Codex or ChatGPT Work request after the reset. Wait a few days and you shift the whole month of capacity later.
